it's clean and not a bad place to hang out. Wish there were a little more for adults here, but walking trail is easy to follow and plenty of toys for kids of different age groups.
The walking/running trail was beautiful and well maintained. I especially liked that instructions were posted on which direction to walk and which to bike ride. The signs posted around the trail that gave insight and ideas for conversations and activities to do with children makes this trail great for one on one time with a child, a family walk, or even a classroom field trip. Restrooms, playground and picnic pavilions were clean. The playground is great for kids of all ages.
It was windy but there was no trash blowing around. I went to eat lunch with my daughter and also to visit a friends memorial tree.
They have 2 playgrounds. One wooden and the other is metal, for the smaller children. There is also a kiddie pool that is about 1 1/2 ft deep and is about 30 ft side to side. Water fountains DO NOT work and there is no vending machine. So bring drinks!
A great place to take the kids on a warm day. Currently under construction, it has a long running track, a separate play area for smaller children, benches, picnic tables and rentable gazebos. The "water park" is relatively small and usually occupies many people so this may the part you'd want to skip. Otherwise a nice park!
