Unfortunately, my experience with Century 21 West Main has not been a good one. We were unrepresented when we began our relationship with Century 21/Dave Pitt. We were interested in a house in Lebanon that Century 21 had listed. We contacted the office to find out more information and we ended up working with Dave Pitt. We decided that we wanted to make an offer on the house, so we had to sign an agency agreement with Century 21/Dave Pitt. Prior to signing the agreement, Dave told us verbally and in writing that if the deal fell through with the house we were interested in, we could terminate the contract prior to the date listed on the contract. We made an offer on the house which was countered. The owners said they would not accept a contract contingent on the sale of our home. We withdrew our offer, but thought about renewing our offer if we got a contract on our house. We looked at 3 houses over the course of the next 7 days with the assistance of Century 21. We did end up getting an offer on our house, but decided that we did not want to make another offer on the original property. We notified Century 21 with 48 hours that we no longer needed their services. Now, they have told us that they will not let us out of the contract. Furthermore, we have received nasty text messages and emails from the agent that was representing us and the owner of Century 21 West Main, telling us how much time/gas they've essentially wasted on us at this point. Why would we still want to use them?
