Tisdale Preschool is amazing! Our mixed daughter went there for 2 years before leaving for Kindergarten at Friendship. They aren't racist bigots, Mrs. Joyce and her entire family are amazing! Everyone there has more than prepared our daughter for Kindergarten. She attended from 2015-2016 for PreK and still attends during school breaks. She asked me the same thing but instead of being offended, I listened to why. This is Lebanon and all of her business is by word of mouth, no advertisements. When our daughter started there, she was the only non-white child, Mrs. Joyce needed to make sure that we wouldn't be offended by that. No biggie, I wasn't offended and neither was my husband. I'm pretty sure this is my family the previous reviewer is referencing in her conversation with the owner. Again, we're totally NOT offended!
I Called and was pricing different Day cares for my tot. And Tisdale Preschool is run by bigots, The owner answered the phone and when i asked pricing she said 105. okay 105 a week all included not bad but then proceeded to ask am i mixed or is my child Mixed i said no why? and she stated that she has a child that they make jokes at in her facility a little girl who is as she called it Milk chocolate. and how her parents fought for the USA and her dad is white and her mom is black and how the dad is a lawyer and that they met in Afghanistan , I am just sitting here appalled at her statements. and then i asked do you discriminate against the kids? she said no its truly between them and God. and i said how do you feel about same sex couples with children attending your Facility? And again she said Its really between them and GOD. Okay well my child is not going there so help me God.
