Do not know how to properly fill transmission be careful check personally. I went and had truck serviced new filter and fluid put in get it back and been driving it daily got it at 154000 now has 174000 I had no clue that the fluid had been overfilled tremendously past the hot mark on cold start I noticed to check the fluid just yesterday bc I've noticed hard shift and slipping going into 3rd at 40 mph I'm very aggravated with this I've gone over 20000 miles with it like this and the fluid is very foamy I will be having them get it back to normal level and see if it fixes it if not I'll be expecting them to rebuild my transmission with absolutely no cost because of there negligence I do not understand how someone could be so rude and purposely cause sabotage to a fellow customers vehicle this is utterly ridiculous I highly doubt I will take my truck there for any other services after this is resolved thank you for taking time to read this I'm just letting the people know to watch who you trust and make sure to double check yourself if you can or find someone who can thank you again and have a good day.
Took car there after being told the taransmision was shot. Found out it wasn't the actuall transmission and repair was quick. Also other issues we're found that Firestone missed. I'm bringing my vehicles here from now on thanks Firestone.
Buyer beware, I took my Truck here to get the transmission rebuilt thinking hey it's AAMCO Transmissions, if anyone knows transmissions it should be them. WRONG. At first everything seemed okay with my Truck, so I took my wife's car there to get her transmission rebuilt. We have had nothing but problems. Both transmissions slam into gear. The honda slams into gear on takeoff and the Truck will slam into gear when it shifts going down the road at all speeds, both automatic by the way. The warranty was only two years on each vehicle, we just got the honda back over there before the warranty expired and they kept the car for two weeks and they said it was fine. To this day both are in disrepair...
They will rip you off. Customer service is horrible and their prices are way overpriced. Will tell you that they need to do $1500.00 of work to fix the problem only they have no idea what the problem is. $471.00 for a starter that was working when I dropped off the truck? They take offense and get upset when you ask too many questions. Do not trust them!!! There is probably a reason that they keep getting new people in the front office to greet you. Stay away.
Horrible service. I came in for a sensor replace and oil change and the mechanic pressured me to spent what should have been no more than $400, turned into $3000! Well to ad insult to injury I was made to wait in the "waiting area" all day and even one of the employees hit on me several times!! Enough that it made me very uncomfortable. This place is a rip off and the men that work here are highly inappropriate. Just completely discussed with my experience!!!
