Absolutely the WORST experience EVER!!!!! We waited in line for over 4 hours. After 2 hours we were just ready to leave and there was no way out the exits had been blocked. The lights were terrible!!!! My wife and I have went every year for the past 3 years and have always loved them, this year they were so spread out it wasn’t even entertaining. The price is ridiculous!!!!! $25 for something that was trash. We could have went to a neighborhood and seen better displays for free. Our 7 month daughter absolutely loves music and lights and so we thought she would love this, but by time we got to the gate she was so asleep that it didn’t even matter. I hope they revise their traffic plan and add more lights to fill gaps for next year because I would really hate to see this tradition end.
Love, Love, Love the lights! I strongly recommend visiting on a week night. We drove through on a Sunday and returned with a different group on a Thursday. On both nights we drove straight in with no wait. We also love the options available at Lisa’s kettle corn and more. Everything is fresh, made to order.
Went through on Sunday night with absolutely no wait time. I heard on the radio and also read on their website NOT to come on Saturday so we went with the whole family on Sunday. It is absolutely an amazing light show, so much more room than they had in Nashville. The kids all loved Santa's Village then we enjoyed hot cocoa while watching Christmas movies by the bonfire! What awesome all have to look back on now! Bravo Dancing Lights Of Christmas!
I’ve been to this when it was located at Jellystone. It was a good time, and the wait wasn’t terrible. However, this was a completely different experience. When we pulled in, we knew the line was long, but we had no idea how long line it turned out to be. Once you enter the park, it’s literally a two mile maze of winding dirt/gravel paths before you even get remotely close to the lights. There is no escape either. All the exits are completely blocked off, so you are stuck for hours. If there was an emergency, it would be a disaster. The whole set up is a huge safety concern. They have port-a-potties scattered throughout the path for you to abandon your ride to use the restroom. These are lit only by the headlights of hundreds of stranded cars. We inched closer for two hours before we reached the only exit before the light show. We asked an attendant working hell’s waiting room an estimate of how long left before reaching the lights. He said at least 1.5-2 hours. We gave up and ended up leaving before seeing them. However, what I could see from a distance showed nothing new from last year. We ended up stopping at the little tent they have set up with activities. All the things to do are run down and disgustingly dirty.
Wonderful! Wonderful! Wonderful! We have loved the Dancing Lights of Christmas for years. This was the first year for our toddler to experience the lights and he absolutely loved every minute of it. The wait on a Saturday evening at 5pm was approximately 30 minutes, so not terrible. Looking forward to this display for years to come!
Anyway, there is no amount of lights that is ever worth waiting 3+ hours to see, much less spend $25. Absolute terrible experience.
