Ms. Thompson was a total delight. I appreciated her helpfulness today. She was a standout among the staff, who, for the most part clearly did not want to be there. Ms. Thompson gets 5 stars!
Only took under half an hour to switch to a tn drivers license. Friendly service too!
The people were very helpful and friendly, EXCEPT for the first older lady you come to when you check in. She had an attitude, acted like she didn't want to be there and was rude. If it wasn't for her, I would have gave 5 stars.

I went to Nashville DMV first -- the line wrapped around the building, nowhere to park, waited 3 hours to talk to someone, just to find out that I would have to come back another day. Someone at work recommended I go to Lebanon -- I walked in and was amazed to get a friendly greeting and see a large waiting room with only about 5 people. The place was decorated for Christmas (including hand-cut paper snowflakes hanging from the ceiling), Christmas music playing in the background, and wait... do I smell something? Just scented oil in a diffuser at the main desk, across from the twinkling Christmas tree, beside the mechanical Christmas Angel. Wha??? The workers were friendly and we chatted a little while my info was entered. I got switched over to a TN license from my expired out of state license AND got my name changed and registered to vote, and was out in 30 minutes. And that there is the difference between Davidson and Wilson county.
