Found this place online & traveler to celebrate a birthday. Cherokee Steak House & Marina did not disappoint! We will definitely be back!
As the name implies, the restaurant is known for their steaks. All ingredients are local, and they cut their meat in-house much like a local butcher. I had their Blackened Prime Rib and it was one of the best steaks I've had in quite some time. They also know their cooking temperatures (R, MR, M, MW, W). By the way, you cannot beat the price at this restaurant. You'll have to see it for yourself and find out.
Had a great dining experience tonight. Had the filet and it was perfectly cooked, tender and delicious. The baked potato was piping hot and fresh. The service was excellent as always!
First time eating here and it won't be my last. I had the blackened prime rib and it was excellent. The service was great and they were not stingy with anything. Plenty of food, dressing and rolls. The scenery was nice. Its a small place but the atmosphere is great.
Cherokee Steak House & Marina is a hidden gem about 30 minutes northeast of Nashville. This restaurant is located in a marina; a good place to watch the boats and geese. The staff at this restaurant is friendly, courteous, and extremely polite. Talk about southern hospitality.

Locals know this is "the place for steak". The best angus and prime rib to be found. Seasoned perfectly so you don't have to drown the meat in sauce... unless you want a touch to suit your taste.
Talk about a needle in a hay stack. I found my best steak house in the Metro Nashville area, and it didn't cost me an arm and a leg.
