I must say, I am very impressed with how this Dickey's turned out. It is actually a nicer looking restaurant than the Cool Springs location. I really like the atmosphere they created. The food has been delicious every time I've eaten there, so far, and I haven't had any issues with the staff. You can tell they are new and still trying to find their rhythm.
Dannie, Derek's dad here. My wife and I went there to pick up an order today. While the newness of the employees was evident, they were super nice and the food was amazing!! I can work with people being new when the food is that good!! Just fyi for management... I attempted to place my order for pick up online, however, while Nashville & Knoxville were available and functional, the Lebanon location was not. BTW, I had one of the two meat western sandwiches, (was huge), potato salad, creamed spinach and some bbq beans. All delicious!! Brisket on the sandwich was best I've ever had by far!!
Let me just say.... IT'S ABOUT TIME! I've been eye balling this place since they had a sign "opening soon". The atmosphere & location couldn't be more perfect. The food was amazingly mouth watering! I went there Grand opening day & It was packed but the staff was super awesome. Customer service was excellent & I even had the pleasure of meeting the store mgr. He was very hands on making sure everyone's visit was pleasant. I liked it so much I went back the very next day! There's so much to choose from & everything is fresh & delicious. The ribs, baked potato casserole, beans, & the creme spinach were my absolute favorite you have to try it! I will be visiting again bringing friends & family to try:)
I truly hope this isn't the case, long term. My Dickey's experience isn't complete without their fries and honestly this issue alone could keep me from coming more often. I'd be more willing to go to the Cool Springs location instead.
Went to the Lebanon location for the grand opening. I’ve never even heard of Dickey’s before then and MAN I HAVE BEEN MISSING OUT. It was the best BBQ I’ve had in a long time!! The food and staff were amazing!! I highly recommend it !!!
I've been told that this is because they don't have a fryer and they won't ever be getting one.
Still, if you don't have to have their fries, like I do, then you should definitely give the Lebanon Dickey's a shot!
I'm a big fan of Dickey's BBQ. I generally eat at the Cool Springs location which is near my place of work. So when I found out that a location was opening up near my home in Lebanon, I was incredibly excited!
I've been interested and supportive of Dickey's in Lebanon since day one. The owners are great people and definitely trying to bring consistent BBQ to Lebanon. There are many BBQ places in Lebanon but none are consistent across the board with meats & sides. Of course any new business is going to have growing pains in the beginning and you learn as you go. The employees have become better through training and the owners being receptive to suggestions. I'm a big critic of BBQ because in my opinion nothing beats real Texas BBQ but for a chain, I'm happy to have Dickey's in Lebanon and they will always be my go to place for BBQ locally.
My biggest complaint (the reason I can't give them 5 stars) is that they do not serve fries! What?! No Dickey's seasoned waffle fries?! How can this be?
