A favorite for many locals, I found the food from the steam tray to have little flavor to recommend. My lunch of field peas (the best part of the meal), potatoes, cabbage and fried chicken breast fillet (meat and three) left me full but uninspired. I usually find little need for additional seasoning, preferring to take in the flavors as they were intended, but found myself reaching for the salt just to bring the vegetables up to a flavor baseline.
